Five named to LPEF Board

Five people have been elected to the board of the La Crosse Public Education Foundation.

Joining the board for three-year terms beginning in January are: Christopher Blaylock, Jodi Ehrenberger, Roger LeGrand, Cari Mathwig Ramseier and Tiffany Olson.

They replace four board members whose terms have ended, and a fifth who resigned due to family considerations. The outgoing board members are: Ann Fowler, Laura Johnson, Lisa Sauer, Lynn Weiland and Tony Yang.

Christopher Blaylock is senior manager for the local office of WIPFLI CPAs and Consultants. He and his wife, Anne, have two children. Celia is a kindergartener at State Road Elementary and Harper is 2 years old. Christopher also is the incoming president of the board of the Children’s Museum of La Crosse.

Jodi Ehrenberger is assistant vice president for small business lending solutions at State Bank Financial. She and her husband, Dan, have two young children, Tavin and Josephine, and live in the Emerson Elementary attendance area. Jodi is a former president of the board of directors for Oktoberfest. She currently serves as a Trustee for the La Crosse Public Library and serves on the board of directors for the Winding Rivers Library System.

Roger LeGrand is a retired judge with a long history of public service.  He presently serves on the Wisconsin Tax Appeals Commission.  He is a former La Crosse County District Attorney, Family Court Commissioner, Circuit Judge, a former member of the Common Council and former member of the Board of Education.  His wife Sondra was a Special Education teacher in the La Crosse School District.  Their two grown children are graduates of the La Crosse public schools and are working in  public education in the state of Colorado, Julia as a middle school teacher in an Expeditionary Learning School in Denver and Erica as a School Social Worker for Colorado Youth for a Change at Boulder Valley High School in Boulder.

Cari Mathwig Ramseier is an assistant professor and instructional designer at Viterbo University. She is a member of the School District of La Crosse District Wide Parent Committee. She and her husband, Rob, have two children, Elyse and Erik, who attend State Road Elementary.

Tiffany Olson is the public service director and marketing coordinator for News 8 WKBT. She has served in a variety of community roles, including as a board member of The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse. She and her husband, Wayne, have a son, Will, a 7th-grader at Lincoln Middle.
