Superintendent of Schools Randy Nelson will be the featured speaker at the La Crosse Public Education Foundation’s annual Grants Award Luncheon, to be held Jan. 16, 2017, in the Cargill Room at The Waterfront. The presenting sponsor of the event is Festival Foods.
More than 70 grant recipients and other staff members in the School District of La Crosse will be recognized at the event, including recipients of 19 grants announced on Dec. 1, and 23 grants announced last April.
Other award recipients include:
- Festival Foods will be recognized as the LPEF Corporate Partner in Education.
- Gregory Bonney, former LPEF Board president and an attorney at Johns, Flaherty & Collins, will receive the Margaret Dihlmann-Malzer Distinguished Service Award.
- Annette O’Hern, the District’s supervisor of Career and Choice Education, will receive the Leadership Award.
