Seniors from La Crosse Logan High School were cheered May 19 during a “senior march” at Northside Elementary School.
This first-ever event was in part to celebrate the accomplishments of graduating seniors and in part to provide role models for elementary students, helping them see what is possible if they work to learn in school.
Northside Principal Laura Huber and her staff conceived the event after seeing news about a similar “senior walk” at a high school in Texas.
Treats for students were provided through support from the La Crosse Promise and the La Crosse Public Education Foundation.
