A parent in the Emerson Elementary School area has been elected to join the Board of the La Crosse Public Education Foundation.
Rochelle Nicks works in the Development Department at Catholic Charities. She and her husband, Aaron, have two sons, Oliver and Edison, and live in the Emerson Elementary attendance area. Rochelle currently serves as the Treasurer of the La Crosse Kiwanis Club and is a member of the Development and Marketing Committee for the Women’s Fund of Greater La Crosse.
The LPEF Board currently includes 18 members, plus two ex-officio members, who share the common belief that education is one of the most important values and qualities we can possibly impart to our children. Directors are elected to three-year terms and may serve two terms.
