Annual Grants Award Luncheon set for Jan. 18, 2016

Strong Schools, Strong Community set as theme as more than 60 teachers honored

Please join us as we salute teachers and other grant recipients, plus some special award winners, at our annual Grants Award Luncheon.

This year’s luncheon — presented by Festival Foods — will be held Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, in The Cargill Room at The Waterfront, 328 Front Street South. Doors open at 11 a.m., with lunch served at 11:30 a.m. and a program that concludes by 12:30 p.m.

More than 60 teachers and other grant recipients are expected to be on hand for recognition. They will be joined by three special award winners:

Corporate Partner in Education — The Insurance Center
Distinguished Service Award — Former Superintendent of Schools Jerry Kember
Leadership Award — Jeff Fleig, Central High School Principal

The keynote speaker is Thomas Thibodeau, Distinguished Professor of Servant Leadership and Director of the Master of Arts in Servant Leadership at Viterbo University.
